I want to do a raw meat soup, as suggested by my mentor, to help switch my furkids over. According to my mom, our blender isn't strong enough to blend meats (I've seen it barely blend fruit, so I tend to believe her) and I have no grinder. I can't afford to get a new blender right now. Any suggestions on how to make soups without these tools?
UPDATE: There was a miscommunication between my mom and I. The blender should be fine.

I got a cheap, small blender for twenty bucks at walmart, and use it just for the kid's stuff (I'm a vegetarian so their kitchen tools are separate from my own hahaha). It purees organs well and that's mostly all I use it for! You could always buy ground meats to use in your soup recipes. Others will chime in with ideas, too. I think I'm hogging you

I, would personally be inclined to use a food processor...just speaking from experience (blowing up my blender and then having a student blow up hers, I didn't realize she was going to use a blender) I find my processor can handle the meat without much trouble. You can also use ground meats, and blending only the offal and other interesting components The livers and hearts (don't throw in the gibblets, they will make an awful mess of the blades on your blender) mix up ok, even in the blender. You're doing really well.... ciao
