just bought them 12 super worms and they had a blast in the tub. crunching and licking and hunting the worms:)
i think even eating a few. they left one alive though becuase they got bored with all the dead ones i dont think they noticed the little guy lol.
who would have thought ferrets could have so much fun killig bugs;)

Im glad they had fun! While ferrets arent insectivores, they can still benefit from bugs now and then, not only from enrichment, but for diet as well. Bugs have a decent amount of protien and fat.
Did ya take any pics?

no i should have. lol it was cute except bug guts.
im not going to get them any tomorow because i dont want them to get bored but the day after that i will buy a dozen more its only a dollor and i will take pics and post them on the ferret.com forum because i dont have a photobucket account.

You can email me the pics if you want and I can post them on here. OR you can provide the link to the ferret.com thread, OR I can help you set up a photobucket account (it takes the same amount of time as setting up an email account. Its quite simple  ) I like the idea of not offering them this enrichment everyday. Rotating enrichments is a great way to prevent your ferret from getting bored and extend the life of your enrichment activities. |

why thank you i thought the same thing;) ohhh i just rememberd my boyfriend has a photobucket account lol i forgot. i can just put the pics on there. but im still not sure how it woks. do i just click the little icon that says insert image and put the url thing in between the ![]() [/img]? |

I was wondering what superworms were lol I call them meal worms  I love them! I think their cute haha (the worms that is) You're ferts are beauties though!   |

ha yea super woms are the big version of meal worms there alot bigger and grosser. but they were out of meal worms so i got supe worms instead.
