"A lost Boxer wearing a collar was found Tuesday by a couple of good Samaritans who brought the dog to the shelter in Walker Co, AL at 4:00. The relieved owner was waiting to redeem the dog the next morning prior to the shelter's opening. But shelter staff had "evaluated" the dog and killed him by 4:30 the previous day."

That is disgusting. That poor family who lost their puppy and those poor people who brought him there thinking he would get help. It makes me sick that someone could so callously euthanize an animal, without even giving him a chance to get home again.

This is beyond sick, this shelter needs shut down immediatly, as well as sued/criminal charges. Poor dog did'nt do nothing wrong, looked perfectly fine to me. Even if he did get aggressive off film, he's probably scared, nervous so of course may be edgey that should be understandable... and still have to give owners time and oppurtinty to get thier dog.

Ive seen to many Peta video that have scarred me for life.

having a boxer and being a boxer dogs number one fan this would have messed with me but i imagine what its about and to be honest it makes me sick i also read the reviews.

im guessing the dog bite him or snapped at him but here where i live im pretty sure they cant put a dog down for a MINOR bite unless it bites three times- im getting this from my friend her dog has bit someone twice.

People like this need big punishments!!!!

I cannot believe they did that! OMG! I think I'd be laying a serious hurt on someone who did that to any animal of mine . Criminal charges need to be laid.
