Ok so heres some background a little bit ok. I have 5 birds, 4 cockatiels and 1 budgie, and I want to build them an outdoor aviary this year. Well, I was wondering if when the birds aren't in it if it would be a good idea to put the ferret in it? I think she would LOVE it and it wouldbe a nice place for her to sit when I can't have my eye on her 24/7. Now, either way I am building the aviary for the birds but I want to know how to make it best escape proof for the ferret. Also what kind of wire should I useso the ferret stays in and the predators stay out? TANKS!!! ;D

No. The ferret wouldn't stress out the birds. Actually, they are both together in my room lol. NEVER out at the same time but they share a room lol. All 5 birds and ferret live in my room. Thanks for the link! I'll check that out!

I would suggest putting something on the floor as well (buried under dirt of what ever you were using on the floor) to prevent the ferret from digging out. That sounds like alot of fun though. Goodluck.
