I'd love to try doing it that way, but where I live, if someone saw me skinning an animal outside, I'd probably be reported for animal cruelty

You could always hang them in the bathtub to skin em. Smooth and easy to clean... it even has a drain at the end. Depending on how much downward pressure you're using you might be able to move the shower curtain rod in a foot or two and hang them from that. Alternatively, you could install a ceiling hook in your ceiling to hang them from - my hooks easily hold 5 pounds of potatoes (probably could hold more, but I haven't had them in long enough to need to buy more potatoes yet).

In my experience, if the rabbit were alive it would bite, kick and scratch your face off LOL. Just think about that while you're cleaning it up
