We lost our Freedom Saturday. She had been fighting adrenal for the last few years. She was the one that we say started it all. When I meet my hubby he had her and I was like ewww ferrets. But slowly Freedom made me fall in love with her, and I started reading up on ferrets and yelled at my hubby for not feeding her raw and keeping her alone in a cageand only giving an hour of play time a day. We found all of her brothers and sisters laying around her trying to keep her warm. I know that our baby is no longer in pain and we will always have you in our hearts.
We love you and miss you.

Jasmine, I'm so sorry to hear about Freedom. At least she's no longer in any pain, and she'll be with her other friends waiting at the bridge.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Freedom. Words are always such a shallow form of message when trying to touch grief and the emptiness that is left when one of these little souls choses to leave. I will light a candle in Freedom's name, to provide a guiding light to her on her next great adventure Run free, as your name is truly a representative of what you are now. You stretch, and feel the vigor once again flow through muscle that is no longer wasted and aching. Once again you bounce, dook and bask in sunlit glades and in soft sweet smelling grass. This path is well worn and in your mind you already know where to go. You look back, for a moment remembering warm snuggles, gentle scritches...friends that are for now left behind. You know in your little heart this goodbye isn't forever but just for now. Know that our hearts go out to you little one for you were one of the the firsts, the ones that teach another to love those dark little eyes, tickly whiskers and warm musky smell that is ferret. Thank you little one, goodbye little one ciao

Freedom is truly free now. I hope she rests in peace. Sorry to hear for your loss birdie, although condolences seem so little a gift at this time.
