Corn starch peanut fun!

I took a 23" x 15-1/4" x 14-1/2" high dig box stuffed with 3 cubic feat of non-toxic packing peanuts www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=18172 aaaaaaand........DUMPED IT ON THE FLOOR! Thats right, on the floor. They are ALL war dancing like crazy and having a great time wrestling in the peanuts. I took 40 million pictures and realized this type of this would look best on video so i took 3 or 4 1-2 min long videos of the madness. Literally half of the ferret room is covered in peanuts. Rolo has only scratched at the door about 4 times and i just throw her back into the peanuts and tickle her for a minute to get her hyper again and she will continue playing. Mr. Bean is beating her up and dooking at he. He think this is hillarious. So yes I know I'm crazy but hey it makes the fuzz happy and cleanup isn't THAT hard lol. I use one of those tiny corner litter pans to scoop it all up and put it back in the dig box. Yes I have done this a few times before and they LOVE it but I have never gotten pix.

I know Stewart would LOVE that, we had a box for him with packing peanuts and he went NUTS, But our retarted kitty, Bruce, kept eating them, So I had to put it up. ><

I used to let mine play with those every time I got a package from Fosters and Smith but one of my males likes to eat them instead of play. So do my dogs for some reason, even caught them snacking on the ferret's wheat litter. Remind me why I spend a fortune on grain free food again? It's so funny how nuts the fuzzbutts go over that stuff though.

CUTE! That gives me an idea with slightly less cleanup... fill the bathtub with the peanuts, and then rinse them all away! The tub in the second bathroom never gets used, so the peanuts could stay for awhile. Luckily, I can get them straight from the source (we make them on site, out in the warehouse. If we ever have to fill in and help out in the warehouse, working the peanut machine is the best job to get).

I don't know why anybody likes to eat the peanuts... I tried one myself, and they immediately suck up all the moisture in your mouth and make it all cottony. So I can understand trying one, but not going back for the second...

Mr. Bean is the only one who eats them. He mostly only eats 3 or so and soon as I get them out but then he just gets too into playing to care. I take them out of his mouth and ask him why every time and look at him as if he is insane which he is.

I think it would be really fun in a kiddy pool too. I wish they made the small plastic ones with 2 feet high edges so i could attach a tube for them to get into it.

I had really fun playing with them and watching them play it was a blast. I might do it again tonight.

Thanks they all love each other. Those packing peanuts I got from Dr's Foster and Smith. I ordered the dig box which they hardly care about. Throw the contents on the floor though and they go bananas.
