1. How many ferrets do you currently have? What are their names, ages, genders, and do they have any health problems (this is VERY important)?
i have two female ferrets that are both around 3 to 5 years old. Their names are French Vanilla (Nilla) and Mocha Latie (mocha).
2. What are your ferrets currently eating? Include their main diet, plus any treats or supplements (such as duk soup).
Nilla and Mocha are currently eating a combo of Marshel's ferret food and purina kitten chow. They get furtone and chicken bay food as a treat. they also get 1/4 tablet of melatonin to prevent adrenal disease.
3. What kind of diet do you want to switch to?
I would like to swich them to a raw and whole prey diet.
4. Why do you want to switch to this more natural diet?
i want to switch them in order to improve their health and well being., as well as put more weight on both of them as they are both thin.
5. Where/what/who got you interested in natural diets?

6. Please list the current weight for your ferret(s). Do they appear overweight? Underweight? How is there muscle tone?
Nilla weighs one pound and is extremely under weight. her musckle toneis very poor as well. Mocha weighs 2 pounds has good muscle tone, but is under weight as well her bones can be felt as well.
7. What is the condition of your ferret's teeth/gums? (can you get a picture?)
Both ferrets have tarter build up on their teeth as well as teeth that are turning clear.
8. Describe the texture/color of your ferrets coat.
Nilla's fur is thin, course and she is white. Mocha's fur is soft and she is a dark sabel.
9. How often does your ferret go to the bathroom?
They go to the bath room a decent amount. Around 6times a day each.
10. Does your ferret's feces and/or urine smell?
Their feces smell very stinky.
11. Smell your ferret. How strong is their odor?
their oder is not very strong at all.
12. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being completely lethargic and 10 being "through the roof!" what is your ferret's energy level?
Nilla is a 2. She is sleeping almost 24/7. just geting up to eat, drink, and poop. Mocha is a 4. She is quiet but she does explore and play sometimes.
13. How excited is your ferret about meal time (when fed kibble)?
they both have a decent appetite. The dish i have has two sides which hold 24 ounces which i refill each day and it is close to empty the next morning.
14. Have you attempted to switch from kibble to a natural diet in the past? If so, what methods have you tried. Be specific.
No i have not.
15. What other information about your ferret(s) would you like to share?
both ferrets have bad back legs. Nilla's is so bad it inhibits her ability to play.
