I've decided that the ferrets need a meal plan so that I will know what to feed them and when. That way I know they are getting enough bone and organ in their diet. If someone could just look over this and let me know if I need to change anything or add anything. This is per ferret and I have four.
Sunday:
AM - 2oz boneless chicken PM - 2oz boneless beef
Monday:
AM - 1 chicken leg (I normally give them 3 total, as one chicken leg is too large for one ferret) PM - 2 oz boneless pork
Tuesday:
AM - 2oz soup PM - 1 chicken wing
Wednesday:
AM - 2oz ground beef PM - 1 chicken leg (same as above)
Thursday:
AM - 2oz chicken heart and gizzards PM - 2oz boneless chicken
Friday:
AM - 1 turkey neck (same as above) PM - 2oz boneless pork
Saturday:
AM - 1 chicken wing PM - 2oz ground beef
This is a rough idea and I wrote it without really planning it out. I tried to make sure there was one day of organ meat (should I make sure to include liver?) and at least 4-5 days of meaty bones.

If it was me I would put more organ into the diet, but apart from that is looks ok to me. Also alot of people (me included) dont class Heart and Gizzard as "organ" as it is a secreting organ so usually gets classed as muscle meat. Maybe try to cut out some of the poultry aswell and replace it with whole prey (Rabbit, rat, quail etc). Wow, I know it sounds like I am being a a$$ but this post isnt supposed to come across that way!

They definitely need one meal of liver/other organ(usually kidney is easiest to find), and I'd say three more bone in meals, at least only three if they actually eat at least 75-80% of the drumstick bone.

I'm looking that there's not enough bone and I would be adding some liver to that mix (you need some vit a and a supplement is lousy). I classify gizzards as meat...so up the heart a bit too. You've got your variety...I'd be adding one more type of meat....rabbit, quail...something with smaller softer bones so that your guys can get some minerals. You've got chicken legs and turkey necks for bone....my guys won't eat the whole of weight bearing legs, nor will they eat much of a turkey neck. They will eat chicken necks though. It's just a thought....for the most part the set up is good. You've got fairly good variety. It's a good base I would like to see more bone and some liver. ciao
