My little girl absolutely goes NUTS (I have to say..if that's the war dance it scares me a bit) when I bring out my jeans and put them in the bathroom with her. She doesn't really tunnel in them but she'll chew the heck out of it! Oh and...is it ok that I leave her alone in the bathroom while she plays? She's my first ferret...and I'm a bit scared to play with her .

First of all- have you read about nip training a kit? It really is necessary, because they don't realize they can hurt you. Every time she nips, don't pull away. That's when it can hurt. Instead, make yourself push your hand into her mouth, but gently. She'll let go, then scruff her, and tell her "NO BITE" in a very firm voice. Do this consistently, and she'll learn it's not acceptable. And yes, if the bathroom is ferret proofed, she can play in there, but I'd def. supervise for a while, to make sure she can't open cupboard doors and get behind the wall through the drain pipe opening. As far as the war dancing goes- it means she's having a blast, and she's very happy  . My guys love to play in a pair of jeans as well. Try opening the waist band to show her she can go inside of them. Once she's in there, quickly "skritch" over her in the leg of the jeans. I play that game regularly with mine, and they love it! |

I know what you mean about the shoes! I have to put mine all away, or the insoles are in one stash spot, one shoe in another, and the other shoe in a third! Makes it interesting trying to get dressed in the morning, though |

They are really quick...my two had trouble with getting the idea of going through the leg not laying on the leg.  ..so to help them out I took an old pair and stuck a plastic tunnel into the leg..held it open on one end and the other laid flat..had to give them those jeans  they won't give them back. |
