www.pawnaturaw.com/analyses.html#chickenIt's 16.6% veggies which is high for ferrets and cats, but apparently acceptible for dogs *cough cough*. NV is only 5% fruits and veggies. GA:17% protein, 8% fat, 69% moisture. (equates to 54% protein and 25% fats) Have you checked out AFS and Stella and Chewy's? prices at CHP: wysong: $15 for 7.5 ounces (but it's dried, so reconstituted we're looking at 15 ounces or so) S&C: $8.50 for 6 ounces (dried) AFS: $6.50 for 4 ounces (dried) Also, my own thoughts on ferretvite is that you may want to cut back. There's a lot of sugar in it. 'vite is good when you have a sick ferret and are trying to get it to eat and put on weight, but it shouldn't be used as a daily supplement.

OH! I guess I didn't answer your question. Yes, the food is complete for dogs (that's what the AAFCO stands for), but I'm not so sure about ferrets.

Too be honest, with that much fruit/veg. content, I think I'd look at something else.
