so i took the ferrets out for their first like realy long walk where they could meet different people etc. They didn't want to walk too much, but i didn't mind.
I had the ferrets in their carrier, and rode my bike over to the barn to visit my neighbors. Jack fell asleep having been realy tired right in the middle of a visit! Lelloo was crazyyyy and wanted to run in everyones shirts.
SOOOO, this is a good step at getting them used to going out. I'm hoping to take them to car shows with us and craft fares. etc It would be fun.

Sounds like the fuzzbutts had a blast! I like to take mine to any ferrety things going on here. I also take Vincent or Sinnead to the nursing home where I used to work. Boris and Lucrezia, I wouldn't trust with anyone outside of the ferret world. They're both too nippy. Otherwise, they love getting out into the yard  |

I wish I could take mine out places. I think the only place would be the park and pet stores. None of mine fit into harnesses though.  |

My guys go everywhere with me. I've taken my guys to art shows, and they're always welcome at the charity art shows, where they often help raise funds for the humane society or other shelters. They love the attention and they help people learn about ferrets and how they should be fed and cared for. It's a great opportunity to teach people about their care and what they're really all about. There is a lot of misinformation out there and sometimes just playing meet and greet with the public with these lovable little comedians helps dissipate some of those lies.

Today I took Stewart to the Library, He was such a good boy, and so famous! xD Everybody loved him, Lol, So he got lots of petting and attention, He ran up the stairs and down the stairs, Lol, When he had to GO, I ran him outside, Hah, He's good at holding it in, So.. That's good. He wouldn't be able to go back if he pooed on they're carpet; Hek, I wouldn't be able to go back,  And On the ride home he slept in my lap. :3 He looked so sweet and he was so tired, Awwh, He was just the most adorible little baby, I almost died, Hah. x3 This definetly won't be the last time I take him there, and I'm looking for every opportunity to take him to different places. This summer I'm going to take him to the creek. Maybe he'll eat some froggies and bugs, Or play with them, Lol. I know he'll have fun there though, it's a nice wooded area with a stream.  |
