Hello, i was wondering if ferrets can eat a type of dog food. Does anyone do this? If iits not good for them would it be a good training tool? What kind of dog food would it be. thnx, ferretlover01

I feed mine Innova Evo dog food, red meat and regular formula. They make a ferret kind but it's overpriced and they don't like the cat kind at all for some reason.

I think that Orijen or Evo kibble (cat or dog) make a nice treat and both are grain free. If you choose something else, I would definitely choose grain free.

Horizon legacy makes a good canine kibble too.
If you're looking at raw, look into Stella and Chewy's canine products. And AFS has premium canine foods that can be used for ferrets, too.
