Can I do it as a treat or occasional thing at first? Do I have to commit to a schedule or can I let them have a raw wing tomorrow night when I'm cooking some up for me and maybe the end of a breast during the week when I'm broiling some up.
I'm also looking at putting in an order to rodentpro, need some mice for my herps, I was thinking about ordering some mice, quail and chicks, can they be a random thing initially as well?

I believe the big thing you have to watch is feeding raw too close to when you feed kibble. The combination can cause stomach problems.
I would assume the only problem other than that would be if your ferrets would eat the raw meat/whole prey without coaxing. For adult ferrets, it seems to take the whole process to get them started on raw/whole prey and then they realize its food and beg for it.

For mine, when I was transitioning them, the problem was that they'd hold out for kibble. They didn't even realize raw was food. I really think if you are going to supplement, maybe get them to recognize raw as food at first, then switch up kibble days, and raw days. Like, if you are going to do two days raw, make those days raw only. And on the kibble days, do kibble only.
