Im happy to hear that things are going well Im thrilled that you've got 3 of the furbabies eating whole prey! Excellent! Good luck with getting Ollie onto the ground turkey. Just go slow and steady and we'll get him switched. For the other ferts, are they still not eating bone yet? Have you tried wings yet?

I would try to feed them immediately. If not, freeze them in a little ziploc baggy. They will start to decay if they arent fed or frozen asap.

It's not uncommon for one ferret to hide food only to have it stolen by another It sounds like your ferrets are off to a good start with the moist kibble. This is GREAT news! With a large crew, you'll need to make sure all ferrets are getting enough to eat. Monitor each ferret for weight loss - When switching a larger number of ferrets, you'll find that they all switch at their own rates. Some people switch by keeping all ferrets at the same rate - that of the slowest switcher. Other separate their ferrets into a couple of groups. But, regardless of how you switch your ferres, you needto make sure they're all eating. as always, pleae ask questions and let us know how things are going! -jennifer

tyvm we let them eat/swtich at there own pace not going to rush them into it we just laugh at them and the poor old man ollie just gives us the look he really likes the dead crickets though they all do and i do need to get more mice getting low on them. tonite they are going to get a bowl of chicken hearts, liver and kidenys mmmmmm i'll bet that fang eats most of it. we leave kibble in there cage when were at work so they have food all day dont want them to go with out thats too long.

Cool!! Looks like you've got a good handle on this, your kids are coming along nicely!!!
I'm a slow-witch person too...I offer stuff, but like you, I don't sweat it if they don't take the food...I use the enrichment experience to enjoy learning about my ferrets' personalities.
he chicken backs don't have a whole lot of meat onthem, but itwill be a good experince with bone chewing. Backs have sft bone,so the're very good for training on bones!
I'm glad to see you're enjoying the switching process! -jennifer
