I have a 2 year old cat named viper (in my sig) and he absolutly LOVES to chase lasers around the house. It is so much fun watching him make funny noises and do crazy stuff trying to catch this little light.
So i wonderd if ferrets would enjoy playing and chasing them around the house? it would be a great way for them to get energy out and a great game for them to play.

It never hurts to try. When I had ferrets as a kid they seemed to enjoy it. Ferrets have pretty similar hunting instincts to cats so there's a good chance that they'll like the laser.

It varies. Just like it varies for dogs and cats. I've not tried it for my ferrets, but I know out of all four of my dogs only Bo chases them. Wouldn't hurt to try, Just be sure not to shine it in their eyes.

My titter loves it! Problem is she is faster than my felines! So she loses track of it cause I'm not fast enough! But its fun for a while, then she gets bored.  Ferret adhd! |

Oliver will chase it for a while, but gets bored pretty quick, lol! Ember sometimes is interested and Chewie is never interested in the laser :-P!

Charlie can get into it a little bit, but none of the other three could care even the least.

Otter will chase the laser light but soon finds chasing the cat who's chasing the laser light way more fun because he can body slam the cat... o'well there goes the laser..
