I live in South Florida, and am currently in a battle with a flea infestation (at least partially due to some cat escapes shortly after we moved in), so I generally don't let ANY of my pets outside, even though I know they would love it. However, it got very cold a few weeks ago (down into the 30's and 40's, which is apparently quite rare for SoFla), and I caved in and let Oatmeal and Keller outside one night. Ushba and Llullu were used to being taken on walks by their former humans, and since everyone has been dosed with Advantage (I know, it's not natural, but it was getting bad. Fleas were crawling on us in the bed on a nightly basis), I figured I could let them out for a few minutes the other day. BOY was everyone excited! Here are some pics: Ushba: Ushba (blue) & Llullu (black) Oatmeal: Keller:

Thats it! I am so going out and getting harnesses for my 4. Walksies!
I hear you about the fleas. When we got our dachshund we missed a dose of flea treatment and he brought fleas inside. It was BAD. We used some diatomacious (spelling) earth and it helped. We then dosed the cats and the fleas were gone.
Your two are absolutely adorable! I love their tails!

Thanks! though there are actually 4 - the first 2 are Ushba and Llullu, and the 2nd 2 are Oatmeal and Keller. It got chilly again the other night, so I took them out again - with a good flea combing after! I'll post pics of that when I get them off of the camera. Although I don't know when I'll do it again - Oatmeal was so excited that he slipped out later when my husband took out the garbage. We didn't even realize he was gone until I heard him scratching at the door about 3 hours later

OMG!! Thank heavens he realized to do that! You must have had a heart attack when you realized who was at the door!
