Does anyone know of any healthy crunchy-type ferret treats? The only way I can get Boris to come out is to shake a kibble container, and then give him one or two. He will accept no other treat, not dehydrated fish treats, ziwipeak, nothing. Not even with ferretone drizzled on. I thought maybe the crunchy salmon treats, but no matter how small I break them, he manages to lick all the ferretone off, and spit out the treat . So, I'm looking for crunchy kibble type treats that aren't kibbles!

Have you tried Stella and Chewy's freeze dried meat? Or I think they have some crunchy treats too.

They do get some Stella and Chewey's once in a while(at least the others). Boris, of course, thinks it's poison . I'll have to check their site for crunchies.

Not even sure what they are. I'll have to check out your site again ! I know whatever I get it will take a while to get him to accept it. He's been totally raw since last Sept., but whenever I try offering him a new meat he's not had before, I have to go through the entire transition process again, just to get him to eat it

S&C's does make a couple varieties of treats, I just recently tried them with my kids. They make one called Carnivore Crunch, but it isn't remarkably crunchy. They also make Carnivore Kisses, which seem harder than the "Crunch" but not necessarily "crunchy" since they're freeze-dried meats.
They went over well with all of my kids, though, so they're worth a try. Someone is bound to like them!

Worth a shot! He refuses any treats but kibble ones . We've tried Ziwipeak, a wide variety of jerkies- ie: salmon, liver, turkey, beef. Won't take salmon oil. Tried a bit of canned meat. He takes the raw he's accustomed to, ferretone(and no, he won't come out from under anything for it ), and the kibbles. The last one is the only one that's worked to date. Oh, well, I only have to coax him out 2-3 times a week.
