Dog crate ferret cage........

I was just reading on another ferret forum that her friend made a ferret cage out of a dog crate. She made ladders and different stuff from peices of a towel rack and stuff. Here is the link if you would like to read the thread:

i was just wondering if this would be a good and suitable ferret cage for one ferret?

depending on the size of the crate (if you could make it a two story or something that would be ideal), and the size of the ferret. Two of my three can get through my dog crates, and one could get stuck durring thin months.
