My name is Jeffery ... I live near Pensacola, Florida and have been a ferret fancier for more than ten years ... currently have six fuzzies ... Peaches, Lucy, Sugar Sugar, Sun, Sammy Superstar and Spencer ...
This is my second krewe of fuzzies ... all of my ferrets are / have been adopted from a local rescue and personally have a great disdain for pet stores and breeders. There are far too many animals in need of adoption.

Hey welcome!  On a side note..I would love to adopt but sadly children under 5 are a no no with rescues around me. So my choice is either adopting off craigslist or the petstore. |

thanks for the welcome ... don't mean to sound so harsh re: the pet stores or breeders ... I just see so many fuzzies in need of a forever home ... in the area that I live, we have a big military presence and many of these families can't take their ferrets with them when they are stationed elsewhere ... plus, there are those people who buy a ferret (or any animal, for that matter) and keep it until the "cute factor" has gone ... or they realize that ferrets do require some specialized care ... and opt just to turn it over to our local rescue or advertise on craigslist when it is convenient to do so ... anyway, I'm happy to be here ... thanks for taking the time / making the effort in putting this site up. I'm sure I will be a regular ...

Ah, forgot to ask! What kind of diet do you currently feed your ferrets, and are you looking to put them on a more natural diet (if they arent already).
