hello~
I'm a new raw meat feeder,I wish someone could anser my questions...
here is my question: now my babie all accept raw meat, but one of my baby, she is four years old now,she only eat the meat with gerber chichen gravy, otherwise she rather eat the kibble ,not mention about the bones, she won't eat any bones even I slit the bones into small size as kibble, what can I do with this two difficult situation? I afraid that she might lose nutrition if she only eat meat+gravy.
the other baby,is a boy,7monthes old,he loves the meat and the bones, but recentaly,I found his poopoo was very sticly,is that normol?could it be diarrhea oe other problem?
can you guys give me your raw recipe in everyday? what kind of meat you feed them from monday to sunday??and what part?? what other supplyment(such as yolks, egg shell or fishoil....etc) I can give them?
it's very glad if you can answer my question. sorry my english ,it's not my native language.. and thanks Heather again, she help me a lot.
many many thanks!
Sincerely

First, don't worry about your English- we can understand you just fine ! I am really glad you made the commitment to raw feed your baby! Now, for the one who will only eat with the gravy. I'd start to thin the gravy just a tiny bit with warm water. Just a few drops at first, mixed in with the gravy, then put on the meat. Every 2 or 3 days, add a few more drops of water. That way, slowly over time, the taste gets weaker. After about 1 1/2 weeks, reduce the amount of gravy by how much water is added in. Hopefully, she'll accept this without too much trouble. Over time, as you do this, you'll decrease her need for the "lure" of the gravy on the meat. Once she's eating it with mainly water, with just a dab of gravy for flavouring, start to decrease the amount of it. But very slowly. You'll basically have to "trick" her into eating meat without it. It may take some time to do this, so don't be discouraged! She'll get there ! I wouldn't worry too much about the bone yet. If you are, you could powder some eggshell, and add a pinch of that with each meal. Once she's eating straight meat chunks, then you can start adding the bone again. You could slip in a couple of rib sections from cornish hen or quail, if you can find it. Then maybe add a wing tip or two once she's eating the rib sections, and go from there Hope this helps a bit.
