ok so i love my ferret but enough is enough... he is getting worse with not going to the bathroom in his box. he used to be so good. I dont understand it because his time spent outside of the cage is increasing and i do interact with him whenh he is outside the cage. i play with him and pick him up and love on him alot. he used to go potty in the same places so i put litter boxes there and he would go only there in the boxes although it seems he would favor one the most. now hes going in all kinds of new places. i keep all the boxes cleaned out too.
when he goes i try to put the poo in the boc to show him thats what its for but his poo is not "pick-upable" it just smears into the carpet horribly. Im not feeding him kibble anymore since you said his poo was like that from detoxing the kibble. So I dont know how to pick it up and put it in the box cuz like i said it all smears and i cant pick any of it up....should i put the poo smeared pieces of toilet paper in the box?
