I've got three new babies. They are switching to raw and so are on just soup with eggshell.
My question is since Taz, Damien, and Bandit all eat their bones like good lil' fuzzy's then do I need to make a separate soup for them with no eggshell?

Personally, if they're eating their bones I would be making a separate soupy for them. Too much calcium is as bad as too little. Egg shell is an awesome in-between but it shouldn't be used long term if at all possible. The dosages that you're using is for your non-bone eaters. So, I would, if at all possible be creating a different soupy for them. JMO ciao

Thanks Heather. I thought I would need to make two different soups but wanted to double check. I'm sure the new kids will be on bones in no time!
The first time I gave them the raw soup (no kibble or baby food just raw chicken, hearts, liver, eggshell) they ate from a spoon and no one had to be scruffed and fed.

It definitely sounds like they're well on their way. It helps if you have furkids who will eat raw....they seem to learn by watching. It doesn't always work like that but it seems to help. Good job . Good luck, I'm sure you're right your guys will be eating their raw diet in no time. ciao

The first night they ate their soup the next night they were fighting over mini drummies and chicken wings.
We got stuff for our non-super bowl party (we watch movies with the kids instead) and the drummies and wings we didn't use for that we kept out for the fuzzy's. It was a big hit for the new kids and the old kids.
