I would like to add... their poops! My two three pound boys poop LESS than my one two pound girl does on a "good" kibble diet. The few times the boys have had litterbox misses, it cleaned up with no trouble whatsoever. And the only time their litterbox smells is if the ammonia builds up. I really like their poo

Might I add the smell I have had the wonderful privilege of having 5 ferrets turned in this year and not any of them were on particularly good kibbles (Mr Squiggly was already raw fed so he's the exception here). Now, I will give credit where credits due all were very well loved with the exception of poor Mr Squiggly. Financial hard times makes it hard for people to care for their furkids and most of the turn ins were because of this. I couldn't believe how bad these little furbabies smelled and yes the huge quantities of poopies. It was gastly. It was really something when my husband came in one day (this was the day that I got Pooka and Babushka) and said "Ewwww, you've taken in another rescue....and they stink!!! Poor little babies He hadn't even seen them yet poor little things but ohhh did they smell bad. It's funny because you don't think about the small bonuses when you feed 100% raw all the time. Small amounts of poopies, practically no smell, high activity levels (even in some of my sickies), great stamina, healthy and if not healthy great healing abilities. When my guys are out in public, I would love for the number of times people have stuck their noses into their coats and said....where's the smell? Now, they do smell of ferret, but they don't smell of kibbles and ferret...that a horrible mix. I so hate the smell of a bag of kibbles. When I got Captain Jack and Calypso they came with a huge bag of kibbles. So I fed it to my mice...hey why not. The mice wouldn't even eat it....ghastly stuff . ciao

i had a fellow ferret owner ( kibble feeder) and we were talkin fuzzies of course.. and i said oohhhh geeze i haven't been out to the shed to clean out today ... ( we had been up to our ears in baking and christmas stuff) .. she says i'll come out and help i know its a big job... lol
we went out.. i got the scoop... i cleaned up one small corner with non smelly and inoffensive poos and dumped more litter into the corner... she was amazed!! i thought you hadn't cleaned out today lol

I just had my parents over to the house this past weekend and my dad has a bloodhound nose. He commented that you couldn't tell that we had pets at all. That was the real test for me because he wouldn't even let us spritz perfume in the house because his nose is so sensitive. Plus he commented on how soft the former stray cat's fur was and that he had such bright eyes. And everyone about died laughing when the ferrets came out to put on a big, silly show. My Ghia is such a ham! She just eats up attention.

My favorite is how their teeth are so clean and white. I also like how soft my babies fur is

Ditto the above regarding NON smelly deposits, and NON smelly coats and their shiny brite pearly whites; I also like that their breath is sweet and they don't feel the need to CHOMP on me anymore or chew things they hadn't ought to!
Cheers! Kim

I struggle with kibble. I don't have good options in my area, and I can't afford to always be buying online, so I do the best I can with 8-1 Ultimate and Zupreem... The world would end if the pet store was out of stock, too. D:
There are so many improvements that I'm looking forward to if I can get my girls to go raw. Of course I love them as they are now, but I want them to be healthier and happier! It would also make my mom happy; she complains about the smell but I really don't smell anything. I'm probably used to kibble fed ferret smells haha.
