I cross posted this on the ferret.com forum.
I feed my ferts AND my kitty a raw/whole prey diet. Today was turkey day and I took a large raw turkey leg out of the fridge and set it on top of the fridge for a few minutes before I was going to feed the animals. I got distracted and forgot the leg was still on the fridge. About 15 minutes later I came into the living room and Mizu and Fugue (ferrets) poke their heads out of their hide-out (an empty ferret nation box) then they pop their heads back in real fast like "Uh oh, mommy's coming! Hide the evidence!"
Their FN box is filled with the plastic wrapping that the cage came in. They LOVE to lay in the box on the crinkly plastic. Anywhoo, I see the looks on their mischevious little faces and I look inside the box. They are rushing to cover something up (using the see through plastic wrap, lol!). I look at them and say "What is going on here?" I pull them out and look in the box and find a half eaten turkey leg! The SAME turkey leg that was on top of the fridge just 15 mintues ago! So how did they get the leg you might be wondering? Why their buddy, "Little Miss Meowmers" (my cat, Zephyr) climbed the fridge and threw them the leg!
Now that's what I call teamwork!

Or there might have been some teamwork involved, haha, who knows!
