Because I am lazy, and have the privelege of being able to hunt I am thinking about a totally whole prey diet, wich I think can work out but the only foods I have acess to at the moment are rats, quail, rabbit and chicks. Chicks are ALWAYS in the freezer as thats what we feed the birds mainly (unfortuneatly), then once we get hunting again we will have hopefully acess to rabbit 24/7, or at least enough for them to have it 5 times a week and then rats and mice I prefer to only feed twice a week and quail is fed maximum of 3x per week. I am just wondering if this would work out or if somebody has tried something like this:
Monday - rabbit Tuesday - chicks Thursday - rat/quail Friday - Chicks Saturday - Rabbit Sunday - quail/rat ? the quail/rat would depends on how the rats are producing and what is growing on at that time, however it would probably be quail once a week and rat once a week.

for the rats and mice you should feed a variety of ages to give them a better balnce of differnt nutricion over time , also I would feed mice with the chicks and not just feed the chicks alone since they tend to not realy have alot of meat on them. or instead of mice maybe give them few chunks of raw meats with it . I am assuming theese are all whole with organs intact

I'm with Suds. On the days you give the chicks, why don't you give them in the a.m., then meat chunks in the evening, or vice versa? Otherwise, I think it looks good!
