Last week the journey for my ferret nilla came to a halt. I had found her in a park two days before my birthday. she was starving to death and i had saved her. I fed her and cared for her till her very last moment. we had many ferret adventures and even an illness or two in our 5 months together. She was the sweetest little ferret i have ever known. She even had the strenght to go on even after sufferuing a spinal injury, which she was never able to recover from.

Sweet little Nilla, I've lit a candle for you to light your way and guide your steps on to your next great adventure. Once again you feel warm gentle breezes that ruffle your fur and remind you of a life not so long ago. You run and play, you again bounce and dook. Take messages of love to those that have travelled this way before little one and know that you're truly missed. ciao

Nilla was very lucky that you found her. The 5 months you were in her life were quite likely the very best 5 months of her life. You gave her a home and the love she so desparately needed from her last family. She is dancing happily at the bridge, waiting for the day her Mommy comes home to be with her. You will be kept in my thoughts.
