the closest picture i can find to what i have is this:

and i have two of them that are designed to sit side by side; one has a place for a removable litter pan and the other is regular. i am assuming i want to feed and put hammocks, etc (i have two, came with cage) in the one without the litter pan...? side by side they stretch 5 feet, with passageways between both upper and lower levels of each section. i plan to sew all of my own ferret blankets, sacks, etc., and happily the cage itself was free so so far it looks like i have saved a significant amount right there!
any suggestions about how to manage the cage space wisely? i go get my ferret(s) in a couple weeks and want it to be ready by then.
