They made the doors too small so its hard to get the litter boxes out and in to clean them.I'm thinking later on i would like to get a ferret nation cage they look like they are easier to clean.

I used to have that cage. I added a "remote litter box" and it made it alot easier to clean the cage. My ferts LOVED this cage, but I didnt love cleaning it lol! Even with the remote litter box it was still a pain to clean. I like how you made various "split levels" I just made 3 full levels. One thing I DID like about that cage was teh versitility. I loved that I could customize it however I liked Thanks for sharing pics of your cage! I love seeing all these pics.

I have heard that the plastic tubes and stuff break easily on that cage. I have also heard comments that ferrets might "outgrow" the tubes and not fit in them anymore. I would recommend the Ferret Nation . Its SOOOO sturdy, SUPER easy to clean, and its VERY popular amoung ferret owners. I own one myself and I love it Oh, and thanks for the compliment about my old cage. If you want I can give you directions on how to add the remote litter box. It was actually VERY easy.

How much is the Super Pet Cage? Right now I have a cage from Petsmart, its the one that comes with food and Carefresh, its purple. Its pretty small though, and basically just for eating and sleeping and litter boxing. I want to get another ferret in a year or so, so I will need to upgrade to a bigger cage, but cannot afford an FN. I really don't have much space for a cage that size either. Well, what are the dimensions/prices for a cage big enough for 2 ferrets? Thanks

www.ferret.com/item/super-pet-my-first-home-multi-floor-large/You're right, that is bigger than what I have, I think its mainly how its laid out that might really make it work. Its where the doors are located that really screws up my layout now. Had I known better, I might have gone for a bigger cage, it just seemed like such a deal at the time! No biggie, now I know for next time! Thanks!

i have the same cage. my boyfriend has been hinting at getting me an FN142 because i constantly complain about cleaning it. i'm debating on whether to set up a remote litter box or waiting for the FN. my cage is similar..packed with all kinds of goodies. it's a good cage for them, just a little more work for the ferrents. but i like your setup :-)
