I'm so excited (my mom's definitely not...), but I found a lady 30 minutes away from me that orders mice from someone every Monday and distributes them to other people. Best part is that the mice are 85 cents each!! And they're frozen too! My mom was not pleased, but my dad sure is. He loves "the circle of life" .

Thats awesome and sounds like a great price to me! The cheapest I have found locally (haven't searched much) is $1.50 for adult mice... way too expensive for me!

Pet store prices are one of the reasons I only feed mice(one per ferret) weekly! That, and if I were to order in a shipment, hubby would go ballistic !

I looked up a rodent pro order.... For one box it would be about $90 shipping to get to my home in Portland, Oregon. $37 would be worth it for me, but not $90!!!

I've checked their site and they only seem to do shows in their area of the USA, but not on the west coast. There is a reptile show coming this January, but I didn't see any frozen rodent suppliers on the show's site. I will contact RodentPro through an email and see if they ever come out my direction.

$90 shipping?! Ow! It was "only" $45 per box to Wisconsin. Being able to split that made it more reasonable. Still, I can't wait until the colony is up and running, since I've been going through two mice a day...

Even when I factoring in the high shipping it still comes out to MUCH cheaper PER prey animal then what I'd have to pay for local prey

Wow-I was getting micicles at a local pet store for $1.29 each large mouse, & live are $1.99 each. This even though only 4 out of 7 of mine are mice eaters, going through 28 per week gets expensive, which is why I am starting my own colony. I should have my first litters in a couple weeks...I am excited! =)
