I don't post much but I think I've read just about every post on here lol On the 3rd we are getting our new baby (not age but they are all babies to me) and I think I am set for the first day. By the way when are they not "babies" anymore? I've found the soups and will make a batch the night before we get her. Since it will only be her should I follow it exactly or make less? If I should make less can someone give me an example? I'm horrible at trying to figure it all out! I do know she is currently eating Marshall's kibble *yuck* We set up a time to meet with her and her current owner tomorrow. I'll be asking lots of questions from him. Hopefully I can get some more info other than "I've had her about a year." I'm kinda nervous... I wasn't this nervous when I had my human kids

A kit is considered 'matured' at 6-8 months of age, generally speaking. So your new baby is not much of a baby. What I do with soupies is I make a huge batch and freeze it in ice cube trays, so when I want to feed soupies I just nuke four cubes. But really you can do it however way is easier for you. This is easier for me because it's more efficient ingredient-wise, and fast for me. Congrats and good luck! You sound like you'll make a great ferrent!

I do the same with their soupies. I usually freeze anywhere from 6-10 ice cube trays worth at a time. It's gotten to the point that when they are having soup, they follow me from the freezer to the microwave, to the cupboard for a plate, to the microwave, and then gather round to eat! And by the way, I just nuke it enough to defrost and very slightly warm it
