I dont like to keep feeding him marshalls, was told its not that good to feed him that food. was feeding him kitten food. but made is poo stink more and poos more too. The one ferret site say to feed him EVO or zurpreem.. But EVo is costly!!! Can any of you help me to get TJ eatting some raw foods?? Some good ways to start are blending meat together and pouring it over their kibble. Another good way is crushing their kibble and sprinkling it over teeny tiny pieces of chicken (or any desired meat that's boneless). If those approaches don't work try soaking their kibble in warm water and then meat juice/blood. Also check out these links to get started: Post all questions about natural ferret diet here: holisticferret.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=newbquestWhen you are ready to make the switch to a natural diet, fill out one of these forms: holisticferret.proboards80.com/in....play&thread=822and start a thread in this section (copy/paste the filled out form into your first post): holisticferret.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=newbiePost all questions/updates on the progress of your ferret's diet switch in that one thread. After making your initial post we will help you start the switch and we will assign you a "Holistic Ferret Mentor" to assist you and monitor your progress Good luck and keep us updated!!

Follow the links above. Your best bet for switching is to get enrolled in the HF mentor program That way you have someone PERSONALLY assisting you in making the switch to raw.

I agree! If it hadn't been for Guili and my mentor, I'd never have gotten my crew switched .

I fourth that! The mentor program really is the best way, as you'll get step-by-step feedback and great info on how to properly balance a raw diet!

Oh, yes....do come and play. We will help No ferret is too old, no kitty either.....they're a challenge that kibble stuff is so addictive but we can help you play the game . I've switched ferrets from kit to 10 yrs of age. My little Babushka gave me so much trouble and now less than 6 months later I'm watching her tear into a rat twice her size. Never say never....they're never too old. My kitty was almost 13, it took me 6 months but he played the game....they said he was dying then, that like his brother the bridge was close. He's now 21 yrs old and still game. So come an play, we don't bite...only our fuzzybutts do ciao
