I got the NV from PawNaturals an online shop. It was like $13.99 (?) a bag but shipping was Xpensive.
I found that De will eat the chicken/turkey NV but she wont touch lamb or rabbit. I gave my dad a bag of beef NV to try out for his cat. I'm thinking of trading him the lamb and rabbit for the beef, to see if she will eat it.
I take the medallion and mash it up with a little warm water and some deep sea fish body oil (De's "ferretone"). She will eagerly eat the chicken/turkey but anything else NO WAY.
I dont blame her for not wanting to eat the other flavors. They smell different then the ground raw Hare Today mixes she was eating. I dunno, maybe its that she only likes birds? She LOVED the ground chicken, duck, and pheasent mixes from Hare Today. And the only NV mix she is eating is the Chicken one. Hmmm....
I might try Primal because they have quail ground raw now. I'm going to my local natural pet food boutique (just found out about it while browsing on Primal's website) to see what foods they carry.

I buy mine at local natural pet supply stores starting at $12.99 and up depending on the meat source.
Mine hate the lamb type. Ernie will eat it if it is mixed with chicken or beef medallions. The lamb DEFINITELY has a FUNKY smell to it... I sure as heck wouldn't eat it!

I'm buyin the chubs right now (2 lbs for $5.50) but the bag of 48 medallions (so, 3 lbs) is $11 here in Seattle. The 6lb bags of 12 patties is 21 bucks. Unhappily, Mud Bay Grainery is a WA store only. So I can never leave Seattle

Giuli - did you call AFS and see who the local supplier is? You can try one of their frozen logs and see if De likes that.

I havent had a chance to call AFS, honestly I've been so busy recently that I forgot. Thanks for reminding me. I think I'll add that to my "list of things to do" for when I'm off on Monday and Tuesday.

Guili, be prepared for the Primal quail- it is EXPENSIVE! I almost ordered some, but I was told it would be something along the lines of $42 for a 4lb bag! Their pheasant isn't as expensive, but its not always available. Seems to be a seasonal thing. My kids all do really well on the beef/salmon, chicken/salmon, and venison formulas though.
