I think the reason they're packaged up like that is because they're not the organs from that particular carcass. I don't know that for a fact. Just a hunch that at slaughter things get thrown into different bins and then reassembled. Like if whoever was cutting it up made a mess of the liver they would throw in the liver from a turkey that wasn't pretty enough to be sold whole or something.

Has your new baby tried turkey yet? Maybe he could be the turkey eater of your family! Nope, not yet. But I'm stocking up on turkey on black friday and he BETTER eat it! If he doesn't I'll be giving it all to my dad's golden retriever (he feeds supplemental raw along with kibble).
