so molsons been eating raw meat for a while now (thanks to him,my CAT now likes raw meat! lol) and ive been feeding him the exact same feeding schedule as giuliana gave me
Sunday: Instead of chicken necks try a chicken thigh or a chicken leg (they are meatier and contain more taurine)
Monday: Pork Chunks and/or Beef Chunks (same as your schedule. Feel free to add crushed eggshell if you want...optional, not necessary. If you opt to add eggshell, its 1tsp per 1 cup of meat)
Tuesday: Chicken wing
Wednesday: Chicken liver (and also feed a chicken neck on this day. Its a small raw meaty bone and the fiber from the bone will help to keep his stools firm, even though the liver is rich and can cause the runs)
Thurday: Instead of feeding a chicken neck feed a chicken leg or thigh (whichever you DIDNT feed earlier in the week. So like if you fed him a leg on monday, feed him a thigh today. Make sense?)
Friday: Beef Chunks and/or Pork Chunks (again you can add egghshell if you want, but you dont have to
Saturday: Chicken wings
and hes eating all of that no problem.
1-today there was no chicken liver but i did get beef liver and calf liver..is that ok?
2-and i also saw i think it was beef heart;i remember seeing a comment bout that but i dont remember where it went...but would that be good for him too? and would it replace the liver?
3-once in a while i give him some gizzards and eggs, in addition to the meat i give him ,is there anything else i could give him?
4-i also remember reading something bout like..pig hoofs? is that any good?
5-last question; what exactly are the preferable portions of food i should be giving him? so far i give him a cup of the cubes and bout 3/4cup of liver plus 2 chicken necks... im just never sure if im giving enough or not..
