I need a good soupy recipe. I saw one before but don't know where to find it. It had chicken, egg shell, and something else. Anyone care to post their soupy recipe?
(Note: I need a soupy recipe for a ferret care sheet I'm writing up for a reptile forum I belong to. Please indicate if you are ok with me using your recipe on the care sheet. Only one recipe will be used.)

How about this one? 8 oz raw chicken thigh meat (including skin and fat) 1 tsp of crushed eggshell powder (take a raw eggshell. Rinse it out. Let it dry. Crush to powder) 1 raw chicken heart 1/2 raw chicken liver Water (use more to make it soupier, less to make it thicker)
It's very similar to my personal recipe and is the one that I've used to assist many of the people who I've helped switch over. ciao

I'm on that forum too. I've noticed a lot of those recipes include kibble. Is there a soupy recipe that doesn't include kibble?

I would never use kibbles?? I don't believe in the stuff. The recipe I gave you doesn't have kibbles The only difference between mine and the one that I get my switching people to use is I use raw egg instead of water. I found too many people were sqeemish about the raw egg thing. Napoleon would never forgive me if I put water instead of his raw eggs ciao

Thanks. Mind if I use the recipe in the ferret care sheet I'm putting together?

For soupies we use different combinations of the following: AFS Sprinkles AFS Patties Stella and Chewy's Wildlife whole prey laying hen Pingford's Porridge Beef or chicken baby food
all but the last two are 100% complete meals, so the soup can be a meal supplement if they are sick.

I'm on that forum too. I've noticed a lot of those recipes include kibble. Is there a soupy recipe that doesn't include kibble? You can just omit the kibble and use raw meat instead. You don't HAVE to include all the ingredients in any soup, just take out what you don't want. But that forum includes a lot of people who feed kibble, so that needs to be an option for them.
