Hi folks, Starting a new thread for this years' Halloween pics. Add yours'! Me, son Rocky (as Thomas the Tank Engine) and Weasel with red cape. Weasel won Most Unique in the pet costume contest. LOL! He was the only non-dog, though people went all out with their little dogs. There was a trick-or-treat downtown so we three walked around. Weasel was extremely popular (too bad he couldn't walk around with all the kiddos). He won a prize bag with bunch of dog treats- real cool though (guess we'll give the outside dogs the treats). I was supposed to be my nightelf but it was TOO hot for face paint. Hehe. Oh- and Weasel rode in the car with me out of a hard carrier for the first time (strapped his leash to the carry bag he slept in for part of the time). Let's see more Halloween pics

What great pictures!!! And Heather what a large ferret, I want one so bad! Absolutely gorgeous! Where is everyone finding these large ferrets? Everywhere I have seen ferrets around me are all small, medium at the largest! I am obsessed with them!

Lady "B" Itchy is a Path Valley ferret and is my alpha female. She weighs in at about 3 lbs in summer weight and is now weighing in at 3.5lbs in winter weight. This pic gives you an idea as to how big she is as she's sleeping with Odin who is a late alter that was turned in and one of her boytoys Lady B is the top ferret who's lying almost on her back This is Lady B with Attila and Ghenghis....let's just say there's nothing "petite" about her All my Path Valley kids are bigger ...Attila is my alpha male and weighs in at just under 5lbs on a good day. It does make it difficult for them to play in the regular ferret stuff though. Attila is laying on top of one of those cloth octopus' ...he doesn't fit So he bounces around on top. I've had to get some hammies and cubes (like the one that they're using in the pic) custom made to accomodate him and the other guys. The other day, he ran afoul of Lady 'B" and thought he would dash down the tube to escape her....he got stuck So here is the poor sh** with his butt stuck outside the tube and Lady "B" chewing it off, with him in the tube screaming like a banshee. I'm practically falling off my chair ciao

LOL at Attila! That's what happened the first night Slinky came home. He and weasel were chasing each other and he got stuck in a cardboard tube that Weasel plays inside. Well, that's one way to show his obvious size difference. Yeah, I remember reading here on HF: y'all said that the Path Valley ferrets are bigger than Marshalls, a reason for this was the age of neuter/spay (if done at very young age, the ferrets won't grow as big). Also, if a ferret is fed natural his entire life, he'll be bigger than a ferret who is fed kibble throughout his growing. Such cute fuzzies, Heather
