Hi everyone, My name is Jen. I'm a gamer, multimedia college student, AutoCAD drafter and proud ferret mommy. Weasel is male, 9 months old, sable, loves being lazy one minute/bouncing off walls the next, attacking feet, digging in the dirt and running in the grass. (I got him this June, my first and one and only furry-love). I'm also a member on the Everything Ferret forum and Ferret.com forum, but I'm really interested in getting Weasel onto a natural diet, whether that be store bought meat/bones/organs or whole prey (dead or alive). I just want what's best for his happiness and health. Now for pictures! (with more to come) Take care y'all! *ferret kisses to all the fuzzies*

Hi and Welcome on board Jen. I love the pics of your little fellow Weasel. He so looks likes my Aremis. Please feel free to prowl around, ask questions and post to discussions. They're a real friendly bunch here and there's always someone around willing to hop in and help you out Go prowl the mentor section and have a look see as to how we work trying to convince our stubborn little fuzzbutts to eat their natural diet and try and get them off the junk foods It's all a great adventure, come on in and join the fun ciao

Thanks for the welcome Heather and everyone I got my first useful bits of diet-switching advice from reading some of Holistic Ferret's posts on the ferret.com forum. Mixing finely chopped meat with moist kibble worked. So did not leaving kibble out at all times and sprinkling crushed kibble over his meat. Weasel ate boiled chicken, fat and broth (made different ways) for all his meals yesterday. I KNOW that's got to be better for him than the hard, dry kibble Thanks for the help y'all

Welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy the forum. If there is anything we can do to better assist you, please do not hesitate to ask. Weasel is a doll! He looks just like my girl "Weezie" did (how funny that they had similar names! )

Hi y'all. Giuli, do you have a picture of Weezie? Heather, do you have a bigger picture posted of Aremis? I sure love looking at everyone else's furkids LOL Jaycee, about your stubborn ferret comment. Wish I could get Weasel to stop attacking my feet when he gets into the mood (besides caging him; we don't like that much).

Ohhh, I'm sooo ashamed I have no idea how to post pics I'm a total computer dummy. I was lucky to figure out how to run around in here If it hadn't been for Giuli and some of the others posting some of my pics when the site first opened I wouldn't have any furbabies posted ciao

Heather, if you have pictures on your computer, you can register free on photobucket.com and upload your pictures (right-click image, then properties if you don't know its location path for uploading). Once your pics have been uploaded, copy the IMG code next to your pic from photobucket and paste directly in your thread message. That works on this forum, and some others. Hope this helps- let me know if you still need some help. Good luck Take care, Jen
