Hello all! I found this site through ferretvillage, I was looking for info on feeding live prey to my fuzzies and found way more than I expected! I am excited to explore both forums and learn tons of new information. I am also looking into getting a ferret nation cage, as we have outgrown the old cage with two recent additions So a big hello to everyone!

Hello I am a Ferret Nation advocate!! n my opinion and many other the Ferret Nation cage is the worlds best ferret cage. PROS: It is roomy You can buy an add on unit to make it a 3 room cage (called the FN143) Has wide shelves (The widest from any cage I have ever seen) Easy to clean Fun to customize Makes your ferrets healthy from a peace of mind Won't break Lasts for YEARS Has wheels that lock in place Has a place to store ferret stuff on the bottom You can also put stuff on top You can put the ramp up between the 2 rooms if you have to separate your ferrets for any reason like I did when I got my kit and had to switch him from Marshall's to the ferret store original formula. I didn't want the girls eatin his yucky Marshall's Only one CON: Price....But if you put into consideration that in a FN 142 model you can comfortably fit 3 ferrets (not recommended for more than 3) and how happy it will make your ferret than price is no matter. I got my cage with my ferret for $250 you can get one brand new at www.ferret.com/item/ferret-nation-habitat-model-142/for only 206.98 shipping included. Maybe you can find one on craigslist. I'm not sure if I would trust e-bay or anything like that. Here are pictures of MY cage (with my new custom bedding set) holisticferret.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=cage&action=display&thread=767I love the bedding so much I am finalizing my second order. I hope you like the site. We are a friendly bunch.

Hi and welcome You will find tons of information about switching and feeding. Check out our mentor programme, fill out the form and Giuli can line you up with someone who can help you out Feel free to ask questions, read through the various links and enjoy a good prowl about. Ferret Nation has my vote for size and versitility...I don't normally cage except at night but I had 2 of these cages turned into me along with their contents and they are by far a superior cage. ciao
