Since my guys can eat the wing cut up, should they not be able to eat the entire wing intact? Unless I cut the wings into 1" segments, the little devils won't even look at it, other than to stash it .

Sounds like they aren't used to having to work very hard to eat their dinner! Lazy bums! Give them a section of wing instead of a whole wing. Or resort to cutting your pieces into 1 1/4", then 1 1/2" then 2" etc until the pieces are actual sections, then half a wing, then a whole wing.
Cheers, Kim

Ferrets can have chicken bones, and so can dogs (my dogs are raw fed).. You just shouldn't give them cooked chicken bones (or Any cooked bones) because they splinter and can cut the stomach. Cooked bones are very dangerous for animals.

All carnivores enjoy raw chickens, ferrets, dogs, cats...raccoons This is Lady "B" enjoying her quail pieces (they are after all only very small chickens ) Chicken is one of the main starting foods for most people trying to switch their furbabies over. It's quite alright to feed them chicken parts, bones, offal, meat...it's all good ciao

Heather, with all your kids do you ever worry that everyone is getting their share of food?

My guys are weighed in every month and I always make a mental note as to who is disappearing with what . If I haven't seen someone at the dinner bowl or running around with a rat then I go looking for them. Everyone gets a hug test first thing in the morning and again at night, plus they come around for regular pick ups, hugs and kisses. You can tell almost instantly who hasn't eaten recently. Food is available to them 24/7 so there is no time when they don't have access to something ciao

I started out with wingtips - even picky and finicky Ranger took to them pretty quickly. Then I worked my way up to full wings. It's worth a try!
