was there any blood or scared poops from Sarah?
you can try introducing them during a bath(just gettinmg tem wet.. don't have to shampoo them). you can also just continue to try small meetings. ferrets wil wrestle hard, and sometimes it can look rather bad if one is trying to establish dominance. If there is no blood or submissive/fear poop/pees then you need to let them go at it for a while.

I'm inclined to agree, there may be a lot of screaming and what may appear to be violence but if there's no pee or poops let them go at it. The more you interfere the worse it will get I will be honest though. I've got a couple of girls who refuse on no uncertain terms that they're not going to live with one another. Both would sooner kill each other than live together. They play at different times (neither is caged, just different parts of the house) and we switch places and playmates. A bit of work but worth it in the long run. ciao

This is the kid (my friend) I was telling you all about. He did have them in a bath together and they were fine but that was after they fought. His main worry is that milky will break sarahs neck even though there is no blood. He watched a video on you tube tonight and showed it to me. He said it is what they do is almost the same as how Milky and Sarah "fight" but it is more violent. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vW__KHfj_wI told him that panda ferret is screaming because it is deaf and deaf ferrets are more vocal. He now thinks there is a posibility Sarah is deaf. Today he told me Sarah actually "fought" back so to me i think there might be hope but I am not sure. I think the video may be able to help us decide better.

I"m understanding that the utube video isn't the ferrets involved? Those little ones are playing, screaming and all At any point either of those little ones could leave and run away but neither did. The screaming is a mildly ticked off fuzzie, who's getting his/her butt whipped .. this time . I have 3 or 4 little ones who scream louder than that when they're playing you should hear them when they're angry . Does the other ferret seem to be stressed or cowed by the beatings? Unfortunately, dominance issues within a ferret business happens and has to be resolved or it will continue. The options, let them fight it out (if there's no poop, pee or blood) or resolve the issue by making separate playtimes. I certainly wouldn't allow a much larger ferret to beat on a much smaller fuzzie, say adult vs kit. Just my thoughts on it ciao

I agree not to freak out yet. Two of mine will grab each other's throats and shake and it scares the crap out of me but they never draw blood or hold each other like that for very long.

Boudreaux was like that with Bubba when we first got him. It wasnt normal play or dominance. Now Bubba was a baby and much smaller and couldnt defend himself. He would run and hide, wasnt liking it at all. I know what you mean about the more agressive ferret breaking the smaller ones neck. I kept Bubba separate except playtimes so he could put on some weight and kept a time out cage in the living room. As soon as Boudreaux got out, he was like a madman, running and sniffing all over the place till he found Bubba and attacking. I grabbed him by the scruff each time, pried Bubba from his jaws, got up in his face and made sure he saw me say no (he is deaf), drug him on the floor a little and pinned him for about 20 seconds, then he went in the time out cage for 5 minutes. Poor baby, spent about a week going in the time out cage constantly. He would finally go find Bubba and then look around to see where I was....ha ha I would point my finger at him and mouth the word "no" and he would go find something else to do. It has to be consistant!!!! Boudreaux and bubba are best friends now and Bubba pins him all the time and Boudreaux screams like a girl. They absolutely love each other!!!!!!
