All 3 of the boys were adopted at the same time from my local shelter. We lost Pele to lymphoma and insulinoma almost 3 years ago. Meko moved on to the bridge last year after 5 years struggling with insulinoma. Meko was also my special boy because he was mildly retarded. Koa is still kickin' it old school even though he's a senior citzen. He's now blind and deaf but you would never know it if you met him. Koa my now lone ferret enjoying some ferretone Koa wants the cyber mouse Koa got the cyber mouse Meko on top and Koa taking a nap together A very, very tired Koa Meko saying "hi" Pele wanting my dinner Koa and Pele kissing Me with a Koa davey crocket hat - (he crawled up there himself) Meko, Koa and Pele enjoying some duck soup the first week we got them. (Pele was really yellow when we adopted him) **Edited for poor spelling**

It amazes me that Koa has done so well after losing both of his buddies, its good to hear he's still full of life.

How old is Koa? I'm so sorry about your other babies. They were such dolls.

Dresden - Yeah I know. It's crazy! My man is a fighter. In his prime he was 4 pounds 6 ounces. He's not that big any more but he's still 2 pounds 6 ounces. He doesn't play for very long but he still HAS to hide food.
Guili - We think he's 7.5 or 8. We adopted him at our local shelter, so we aren't sure.
Pele will forever be the craziest ferret who ever owned me. He was a comedian. He was theif of all theives. And he got into everything. But it made me love him that much more.
Meko was my special boy. The was either retarded or had brain damage. He didn't play, walk, eat, or dance like any ferret I've ever seen. He had a lot of medical issues. But he was a fighter like his brother Koa. I miss my snuggler.
