GRR!!! We got up at 6 something, left at 7:30 (AM) to go downtown to the market.. Before we left we loved on all the babies, the big furry ones, the little furry ones... Came home about 7 hours later, uncovered the cage to love on the little ones (we would have let them out but it was early when we left originally and up top of that I don't really like them being out when we're not here).. Sis is sitting there and I uncover the cage.. I look, my head is about to explode and I almost break out in tears. "WHO DID THIS? WHO DID THIS?" THE CAGE DOOR IS OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!! The flat hammock is empty, the sleep in hammock looks empty. I dig in the bedding frantically............. Lillian is under Weezer's little fluffy bankie (his blanket) and Weezer is in the sleep in hammock that I seriously thought was empty. I give them a million kisses, shed a couple tears. I thought I lost them.. We have a doggy door in the basement and if we're gonna be gone for a long time we leave the door going to the basement open so the pups can go potty (securely fenced yard), so if they tried hard enough they could get outside. And, even though our dogs know the ferrets and are fine with them.. If they are taking a nap and suddenly wake to see a fuzzy critter in the floor.. "OMG!!!!! A WHITE SQUIRREL!". -~Ketlin
