Hello all, I have 4 ferrets Farcus aka farcie... his name is an off shoot of Marcus that well just stuck. He is 3 1/2 lovely sweet boy that has been eating kibble all his life (so far). He had his left adrenal gland removed in July and is dong very well. I have tried to get him to eat other foods, even just plain roasted chicken and he was never interested. Dark brown sable, very laid back in personality. Lolly small female, also around 3. Also only ever interested in kibble. Healthy baby loves to hide in the weirdest places. She get scared easily. She is a cinnamon colored sable. Our 2 new babies they were gifts to us they both have the most amazing coats you every saw. Doobie large male we think he is around 6 months old. Very active silver male that is my hope. He eats!!!! We gave him some chicken mince and he liked it. We gave him roasted chicken and turkey and he likes it. He sleeps so well I wish I could sleep that soundly. He loves to play with his buds and give kisses. Zoey female she is larger than lolly and slightly smaller than farcus, she loves to play and climb. She climbs with no fear almost like a cat. She is black and white and hops all around the house. She will only eat kibble, she had to warm up to ferrotone when we brought her home. We were told that she was also around 6 months old. I came here because I want to learn more about giving my babies the best they can have. My husband and I try to live a holistic lifestyle and we just want the same for our babies. Sorry that I do not have photos I need to get a new camera. thank you, lovethefluffies

Hi and welcome Please feel free to prowl, read posts and ask questions. The people here are really friendly and are always quick to help out If you're thinking of feeding your little furkids a natural diet please go check out the natural feeding section. Read pasts posts and check out the newbie section. Your male Doobie is really a prime candidate and an easy switch as he's under a year of age. None of your furbabies are particularly old so all are very doable even though they've not been particularly receptive to the idea yet:) I hope I will see you around, enjoy ciao

Hello Everyone, So we decided to switch Doobie name to Jack we are have a great time with them all. Tonight I gave him a egg yoke to see what he would to he loved it. The person that I got him from used to give him the raw chicken food from the brand "Stella and chewys" so he like that The others are total ferret mongers. I just wanted to share I was so happy when he liked the yoke. I do notice that his energy level is so much higher than the others. I took them all to the park on saturday. They all had a ball. Lolly we are so proud of her actually came out in the sun on to the grass for about 5 mins, this is a big step for her. I do not remember if I mentioned before but she is a rescue and it took her about 9 months to let us pick her up. A little kid came over with his dad and Farcus the mellow laid back little man that he is just hung out with the kid and it was just too cute. I have to get a camera-- hope fully soon. Thank you all, I feel very welcomed, love the fluffies

I have to say I like the name Lolly the best. That fits a ferret so well. I hope you enjoy the site!
