Hi everyone!! Ok, so as modern schools become...bad I guess (cussing, gangs, peer pressure, etc.) I have started to consider homeschooling. I never see my friends at school cause we always have different classes, most of the kids cuss, 1/4 don't speak english. Another 1/8-1/4 are in gangs. Also here I have to wake up very early to go to school and since I am in the higher level classes (one the highest in the school) I get 4ish hours of homework a day (which coming from my last school where we got 1 hour of homework a night is a drastic change). So I was wondering if any of you guys have been homeschooled or home school your kids and how you like it? I am not worried about the social part cause we can't socialize in school anyways, so I can just meet up after school. Not to mention the attention the ferrets would get. Also it would be easier to get a job too since I could work during the day and do homework in the evening. Thanks!!

If you are the type that can make yourself do the work, make yourself study, make yourself get up..etc. it can be very rewarding, you can finish school a lot faster depending on your level of dedication. If you think you might start slacking if everything rides on your discipline it might not be a great idea.
I was in and out of public schools then home bound and into home school due to medical problems.

I kinda home school my self in a sense. I finished my bachelors online and I am going to start my masters online sept. 30th. It requires a lot of motivation and teaching ones self consitantly. Its not easy because of the distractions you encounter at home.
