Good question.
I know piggy snouts and ears are a source of cartalidge, but because they are SO high in cartalidge, I would give em as a "chew toy" or a "treat". I would worry about throwing off the balance of the diet with WAY too much cartalidge.
The tail I would THINK would be an OK raw meaty bone. If its not very meaty I wouldnt serve it as a meal, but rather as a snack/chew toy.
As for feet, I am not sure, but I personally wouldnt feed them. I am not sure how dense they are.
What grocery store are you shopping at that has pig parts?!?!?! Is this a regular chain store or a more "exotic" store?

Pig's feet or trotters are usually a good source of fat. You will probably have to score them to get a ferret to eat them. Some people feed them to their dogs as a rec bone but there is some meat and a fair amount of fat. I've never fed them before. ciao

I can get those things at the local Sav-A-lot, the tails might be edible but would need extra meat. The foot bones are WAY too hard, my 50 and 67 pound dogs can hardly get through them.

I got them at my FarmFresh. i figured they were not worth much for a meal. but they do seem to like them for playing with. my dog seems to like them also. she gobbled it up and wanted more.

d**n you people and your awesome meat variety!!! I wish my stores had more variety. Oh well, we are feeding almost all whole prey for now, so I guess it doesnt matter too much.

It's cheaper if you have a decent supply and not too many ferrets Do any of you have any idea how difficult it is to find female mice? I want to start my colony and I can only get stinky male mice I have a good supplier of rats, and I have no intention of raising them. I'm thinking of maybe hamsters but I haven't quite got there yet. ciao
