Oh my god that is ALOT of babies at the bridge! I just lost my first ferret last month (Sams) I was a wreck. I can't imagine losing that many babies. How did you not have a nervous/emotional breakdown with all those furkids passing on? BTW- Nachoda and Mimi Siku's bows in that pic are SO freaking cute!

Well My dog, Hunny, Canaliculi, and Tadamichi all crossed over this year. Tadamichi just 2 weeks ago. It's been a rough year that way. And when you've had many ferrets (most being older rescues/adoptions) for the last 11 years, you lose a lot too unfortunately. I like to imagine that when I cross over they will all be there to greet me and that I'm a ferret as well. Then after we all play and celebrate our reunion we all curl up in a big ferret ball for a long nap That's one thing that brings me great comfort. The other thing that helps me is knowing that when one dies it gives me the opportunity to love another ferret needing a loving home. It's never an easy thing though.
