Todd likes to steal shoes. He brings them under the bed. Vixey will climb in my hubby's boots and sleep. Many times Steve went to put his boots on and got a toe bit by Vixey. Steve has learned to look in his boots first.

Shoes have many pieces that can be ingested. I personally wouldn't give the a shoe to have. Most shoe soles are made of plastic or rubber all can be ingested and cause blockages. Some shoes have treated insoles (so they're not as stinky) these can be toxic to animals if ingested. I allow my guys to steal shoes with supervision , otherwise they're locked up in a cupboard out of reach. JMO ciao

My ex gave me his shoes since they loved to scratch in them, and they're old anyway. I took away the insoles and now there is nothing left. They don't have shoe laces, and I love hiding food in there for them to sniff out.

yes they love shoes, but I had a fert come in one time and he had a blockage and when the dr did the surgey she pulled out pieces of rubber off the soles of shoes so you have to kind of supervise them when playing with shoes

mine love to sleep in my uggs even if I have them high on a shell in a box, they know where they are. I have a pair of welly (rain) boots that have a cat face painted on the toe area. Every time I wear them farcus tries to introduce himself. He love shoes. No matter where I hide them he finds certain pairs and they are his. i figured it is a good excuse to buy more shoes hehe
love the fluffies

Boris simply stashes all of mine he can find. Doesn't chew on them, ignores them after, but he HAS to stash every shoe he can find! Crazy fert.
