I took my friends wholly kibble fed ferret and had it eating LIVE prey in an hour. she killed TWO mice and ate one and gave the other to beast (he was troo busy trying to get out of the tub to notice the mice.) Pixie on the other hand just BAM BAM killed them and ripped them both open ate the tails took one and left thew other for beasty who saw that OMG mice = food? SWEET! =) so my friend is OFFCIALLY off kibble! =D yay

Excellent! Just be sure that she knows you she needs to feed a variety of: a.) ages of prey- so feed mostly adults with some seniors and youngin' thrown in b.) a variety of prey. Mostly small rodents but small birds (chicks, quail, duckling, etc) are good too. As is the occasional lizard (anoles and house geckos) or insect (waxworm, cricket, mealworm, nightcrawler, red wiggler) You should have her join our group Its always nice to have more people who feed naturally.

There are less then 10 sites out there that address natural diet and ferrets. There are many more that address natural diet and dog/cats which can be applied to ferrets. I'm not on my computer right now (im on a friend's) but when I get home I can pass on some useful links.

I would love you forever or atleast be grateful XD i have to do ONE big research paper on something of my choosing this semester and i'd like it to be about something im passinate about, even something newly discovered. And after discovering this little haven of ferret health (years after i feel inlove with ferrets and hours after i got my first ferret) i have decided that EVERYONE needs to know about it, mom gets lecture after lecture for just calling beast a rodent (hour long lecture XD she hasnt done it in a while after hearing the same lecture 6 times she learned to call him beast instead of rodent.) and anyone who finds out about my diet for beast that tells me im killing him gets a long lecture as well =) i actually had a pet store tell me i'd kill him and told them his month and a half on the diet at 3 pounds and climbing and only 5 months old is totally proof that im killing him even though he was less healthy on marshall kibble XD.. kay before i write a brainstorm sheet on here XD im going to run off to my newly rescued kittens and give htem some beast food since they seem to like it.
