Honestly they REALLY sicken me. i found a cat hoarders home -.- the cats are all mangy and flea-y and skin and bones one of the cats was ACTUALLY stukc in a tre and the owner didnt give a d**n. took us an hour to rescue the poor kitten. hes SKIN AND BONES. I gave him a flea bath and the cat looks like a SKELETON when all its hair is wet down. The other older kitten i got is the same way. the little orange and white one hasnt ben named yet but the little brown tabby with white patches i named Gilbert C. Ugsy. Gibs for short. i cant have any more cats so they have to go to the humane society but its better than what they were living in. both Gibs and the little orange and white look like calendar kittens! they will get adopted immediately. i have them till tuseday when the no kill shelter is open since they arent open on labor day nothing is. but the little ones are getting fed beast food. and a little bit of milk since the little one looks like he isnt even weened yet.

Thats horrible. Did they have more than that? I'd see if the authorities can check the place out too or atleast have some paper work started on the person. Atleast you'll have a few days to try and help fatten them up/play with the cuties before they go to the shelter. I'd be warry of letting beast play with them though as they probably haven't ever seen a vet.

I fell you on this. How did you manage to get a hoarder to let you take kittens? do you work with the city?
A friend who's been doing rescue for decades came upon an english bulldog in someones yard while out feeding the strays and neglected. She had been keeping up with him for a while and decided to just take him. He was filtchy, sick, and not hahving access to food, water or shelter. She took him to the vet and as expected he was riddled with Heart worms and she planned to have him neutered, start treatment and maybe find him a home for his last days. After talking with her later she told us the owner called, threatened her, and she had to give the dog back. She took him because she had reported the owner (and many, many others) to the city, spca..etc. and nothing is ever done. they tell her there is nothing they can do. The dog is still in the yard and will die there.

The hoarder wasnt home. and the cats wandered off of her property. one was less than a pound stuck in a tree riddled with fleas. two flea baths and preventative gel later they are both flea free. and from what i can see healthy they dont like beast at all skinny though. they looked like friggen skeletons when wet it made me so mad. and they are BOTH incredibly cute as hell. anyone want one? i'll post pics. then they wont have to go to a shelter at all. they have been worm treated and de-fleaed. they both look like they belong on cat calendars.
